Secure, fast and accessible. A fixed price, in ten days.
Run the free checkup on your website. In about a minute you get a results page in plain English, and a mock-up of your homepage in your own colors.
What we promise, in writing
Whoever you choose for your next website, ask for these four. They're what we put in every contract.
- Secure
- No software to patch every week, so there's very little for hackers to break into. Every account is behind two-factor sign-in.
- On a typical WordPress site, attacks on a newly published flaw start within five hours1. Sites built the way we build them had nothing to patch in October.
- Fast
- Pages appear in about a second on a phone, and that speed is in the contract: 95 or more on Google's own test.
- Pages that load in under two seconds win 57% more enquiries than pages that take three to four2.
- Accessible
- Older customers, people with poor eyesight and keyboard users can all use it. We meet WCAG 2.2 AA, the standard courts and regulators use, and that's in the contract too.
- Over 5,000 website accessibility lawsuits were filed in the US in 20253.
- Great value
- A fixed price from $2,900, done in about ten days, with hosting included at no monthly cost. Your staff can edit the site, and you own it.
- Care is optional, at $149 a month. Without it, other work is $95 an hour, and there's nothing you have to pay us every month.
Your options when you switch
There's no wrong choice here, only different trade-offs. This is how they compare.
Keep the current site, on a care plan
- What it costs
- $199 to $499 a month4
- How long
- Ongoing
- What you're left with
- The same site, with someone patching it every month. Speed and accessibility stay as they are.
A custom rebuild by an agency
- What it costs
- $4,000 to $18,0005
- How long
- Weeks to months
- What you're left with
- A new design, usually on the same kind of setup that needs patching, and a care plan to go with it.
Do it yourself on Wix or Squarespace
- What it costs
- A monthly subscription
- How long
- Your evenings and weekends
- What you're left with
- The platform is looked after for you. Speed, accessibility and moving your Google rankings are left to you.
With us

- What you're left with

Did your website stay up in October?
In October a serious flaw was found in PHP, the software under most small-business websites, including almost every WordPress site. Sites around the world went offline for hours or days while it was fixed6; one tracker listed 753 of them7.
Most small businesses never heard about it. Their host either installed the fix quietly, or didn't, and from the outside you can't always tell which.
Three questions to ask whoever looks after your website
- Was our site updated after the PHP security fixes on October 21?
- Which version of PHP does our site run on, and when does it stop getting security fixes?
- If you were unavailable for a month, who else could update our site?
Or check one thing at a time
- PHP version checker
Find out which PHP version a website's server reveals, and whether that version still gets security fixes from php.net.
- Website speed test
Test how fast a website's homepage loads on a phone: when the main content appears, layout shift, page weight and server response, with Google's targets.
- Accessibility checker
Check any website against WCAG 2.2 AA in under a minute: missing labels, low contrast, image descriptions and tap targets, with the checks a person must make.
- Security headers checker
Check which of the five standard security headers a website sends, whether it forces HTTPS, and whether it can be framed by another site.
Whenever you're ready, start with the checkup.
Free, about a minute, and the results page is yours to share with whoever looks after your site.
