Free PHP version checker: is your site's PHP still supported?
Type an address to see whether its server reveals a PHP version, and whether that version still gets security fixes. Old PHP is common under WordPress, Drupal and Joomla sites that haven't been updated in years.
Free, and only reads what any visitor can see.
What it checks
- The PHP version the server reveals in its headers
- Whether that version still gets security fixes
- The platform the site runs on, and its version
Reading the result
- No longer supported
- That PHP version gets no security fixes. Your host can usually upgrade it, but old plugins and themes may break on a newer one.
- Version not shown
- The server keeps its PHP version private, which is good practice. It doesn't tell you whether the version is supported; your host can.
